Summary :
This role must be able to see how logical design will translate to one or more physical objects / databases and how data will flow through successive stages.
The candidate will need to address data migration, validation, cleanup, and mapping, build relational objects / databases, optimize processes for performance, develop strategies for data acquisitions, and demonstrate broad and deep knowledge in a dimensional database environment.
Demonstrating excellent data analysis skills using SQL, korn shell, and bat file scripting and working well with others on the team to meet project milestones, managing client satisfaction, and mentoring others on the team and expectations of this role.
Responsibilities :
- Work collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to architect, implement, and test data based analytical solutions from disparate sources
- Designs Data Architectures; Develops strategies for data acquisitions
- Architect, design and maintain high-performing ELT / ETL processes
- Work closely with the Users, systems designers, and the developers on a Project team
- Demonstrate an understanding of concepts, best practices, and functions to implement an Enterprise Data solution in a corporate environment
- Conduct business analysis, event modeling, logical and physical database design, database optimization, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management
- Design scalable Enterprise Data Architectures and solutions
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years hands-on experience in data extraction, data architecture, database administration, data modeling, data management, and BI, with a heavy focus on data warehousing and ETL technologies. (Required)
EDUCATION
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Required)
- Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience (Preferred)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Epic certification (Cache Operations, Cogito, Clarity, or Caboodle) or Windows certification (Windows server, Windows OS, Active Directory, or Windows Network Infrastructure) depending on assigned application support (within 180 Days Required)
- Oracle or SQL Server depending on assigned application support (Required)
- Informatica (Preferred)
