Receiving Inspector

Expect the unexpected and inspect for a living! Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Receiving Inspector for our manufacturing client in Fullerton, CA.

Our partner company designs and manufactures low-pressure fluid transfer components for commercial aerospace, defense, and high-technology industries.

You will inspect machined components, hose assemblies, and other hardware to verify compliance. Pay : $26-$27 per hour

1st Shift Hours

Lifting Requirements : Up to 40 pounds

Essential Functions :

• Accurately perform visual inspection for workmanship, and dimensional inspection to check for conformance to drawing requirements on all products in Receiving Inspection.
• Perform documented First Article reports as needed.
• Interface with suppliers regarding quality issues and receiving inspection results of supplier parts.
• Review and document inspection results on various types of shop travelers, process sheets, etc.
• Involvement in internal and external auditing.
• Assist other areas as needed, including machine shop in-process inspection.

Qualifications :

• High School education or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment or completion of an inspection-related certificate program.
• Must be proficient in the use of basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth mics, comparators, etc.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and other documented specifications.
• Strong math and computer skills.
