A client in Houston in the oil and gas industry is seeking a GIS PODS Analyst for an open-ended contract
Must have GIS, PODS, pipeline operations / regulatory knowledge
Responsibilities
- Load and manage pipeline feature data into the PODS database
- Perform QA / QC on pipeline data from PODS
- Produce GIS-based pipeline maps using ArcMap
- Generate alignment sheets using TurboRoute software
- Develop and maintain geodatabases using ESRI software
- Create and manage ArcGIS projects
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Surveying, GIS or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Pipeline GIS and PODS knowledge
