Oversee compliance with federal and state laws and regulations governing various areas within the Bank; develop, administer, and monitor internal programs, including the Bank’s Compliance Management Program, to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Stay abreast of new laws, rules, products, technologies and applications, and assess implication across departments; develop compliance policy and guidelines;
provide support to departments; engage in resolution of issues and concerns; implement strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the Division's annual operating plan
A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required; specialized compliance training, and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), bank regulatory experience with a functional regulatory, or similar is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret laws and regulations, related guidance, and industry information. Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
- proficient interpersonal relations, communication, and teaching skills; strong analytical skills; thorough understanding of compliance management;
comprehensive knowledge of applicable banking regulations; must possess a valid driver's license.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in regulatory compliance or risk management functions, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility normally is required.
