THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Security Program Manager Responsible for managing relationships with specific customers.
The ideal candidate must be able to provide strategic oversight of project management and installations of security systems while working continuously to improve the company's goals of on-time delivery and profitability and complying with all quality management processes and policies for critical security-related projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
- Reviewing the design of Security Access Control, Video and Alarm systems with a high understanding of design.
- Overseeing the production of design documents for permitting with CAD team and AHJ as necessary.
- Analyzing construction design drawings for things such as security systems interfacing to the fire alarm system and what is required under currently adopted codes and standards.
- Assisting sales with and obtaining bid from subcontractors to provide installation services and be able to manage selected subcontractor(s).
- Participating in post-bid job hand over meeting to verify the accuracy of the sales estimate, the specific scope of work, and job layout provided by the account person.
- Responsible for building a high-performance culture, which includes supervision of field technicians and service coordinator.
- Interfacing with the AHJ and architects / engineers as needed to resolve conflicts in design and code.
- Executing monthly financial performance analysis. Reporting the information in an effective manner to management and taking corrective action as needed.
- Providing accurate reports and analysis of both the project state of completion and the job cost budget.
- Maintaining detailed oversight of every job cost report for each assigned account and developing / executing a strategy for each account.
- Ongoing communication with our customers and foster an environment of cooperation.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
- Seven to ten years of experience in the security or electrical industry.
- Minimum of three years in a solid leadership role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required, along with software knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Project.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task are required.
- EST or Fenwal experience is a plus.
- Must have knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Possess fundamental knowledge of the California Building, Codes Industry Best Practices, and relevant Electrical Code along with NFPA 72.
Must have the ability to comprehend and apply these codes to the project or account.

Salary : $75,000+ based on experience
