SUMMARY
Working with general supervision, the Benefits Analyst supports benefits projects through day-to-day activities that contribute to successful completion of team deliverables.
The principal business outcome of this position is to facilitate the completion of benefits projects and tasks. An associate in this position may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback.
Some non-routine activities will require a supervisor’s advanced approval.
This role sits full time in Grapevine, TX.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of employee benefit programs, including full-time, ACA-compliant and part-time plans
Assist with the administration of all paid time off programs and resolve all data and system-related issues as needed
Respond and resolve associate issues escalated by third-party administrators; partner with management to resolve cases
Assist with the planning, drafting and publishing of benefits communication articles
Process and file all court-ordered coverage and LOA-related unemployment claims
Respond to questions and special requests from associates and managers on a variety of benefits-related topics
Support all benefit events such as education workshops, health fairs, blood drives, flu clinics, etc.
Develop and generate reports to meet management requests and business needs for HR-related data and statistics as needed
Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization; adhere consistently with all organizational policies related to our respectful workplace
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and summarize information
Maintain the confidentiality and security of data accessed during the course of daily activities
Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE)
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or related field from an accredited program preferred
At least 1-3 years’ experience in a HR-Benefits function strongly preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English
Working knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Working knowledge of HR Management software such as Workday, PeopleSoft, UltiPro or similar system
Working knowledge of regulatory environments as they relate to benefits programs including ACA, FMLA, ERISA and USERRA
Ability to work collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
Ability to recognize discrepancies / errors in written / recorded data / information including the ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Demonstrated capacity for gathering / scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
Working project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
