Industrial Maintenance Mechanic II
We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in the vicinity of Bell, CA. Food manufacturing experience is preferred. This is a second shift, full time position. Pay is between $26/hr to $35/hr depending on experience and skill level.
Details/Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years or more of food production experience: knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), USDA rules in manufacturing, and HACCP is desired.
- Bilingual English, Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must have knowledge and experience in HVAC, cooling and heating, refrigeration.
- Must follow good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and good personal hygiene practices.
- Freezer inspection, trouble shooting and repair.
- Experience in Welding – MIG, TIG, Spot Welding
- PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics experience is required.
- Can read blueprints / schematics.
- Electrical: conduit, 420 V, 3 phase, sensors, PVC work
- Electrical: up to 480V, 3 phase motors, AC/DC circuits
- Wire new motors to the production line.
- Forklift and reach truck repairs and troubleshooting.
- Mechanical: Industrial machinery, presses, boilers, conveyors, motors, and chillers
- Mechanical Work: rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, installation of blades, etc.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to read and write proficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
