The Research Pharmacist conducts research related to drug therapy, formulary management, and medication safety, contributing to advancements in pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement research studies focused on medication efficacy and safety.
- Analyze data and prepare findings for publication or presentation at professional conferences.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to assess medication outcomes and develop evidence-based guidelines.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in pharmacotherapy and clinical research.
- Educate pharmacy staff and students on research methodologies and findings.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree with a focus on clinical research or a related field.
- Experience in conducting clinical research and data analysis.
- Strong writing and presentation skills for communicating research findings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment
