Location : Hybrid 1-2X a week on-site around Roseville, CA, the remaining days remote
Job Description
Insight Global's client is looking for a Principle Mechanical Engineer to sit in their Roseville, CA office. The team they would be joining serves Power Generation clients, so will be working on projects that can include hydropower plants, coal plants, gas plants, etc.
They will mainly be responsible for doing project walk-downs to assess equipment / projects and assist in the creation of scope, writing project proposals, stamping designs, budget, man-hours, cost, etc.
Additionally, they will lead project equipment teams for the design and engineering of the new equipment for the plant. Most of the work is for modifications / retrofits to existing power plants but may include new builds from time to time.
Qualifications :
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience doing Mechanical design / engineering for either hydropower plants, power plants or heavy industrial sites.
