Billing Specialist

This Billing Specialist position earns a competitive salary and great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, a health savings account (HSA), and a flexible spending account (FSA), and PTO starting at 22 days.

A Day in the Life of a Billing Specialist
As a Billing Specialist, you'll generate monthly invoicing and assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger.
Our team of Project Accountants will rely on your help setting up projects in our ERP system, tracking new projects, and updating project files.
You'll assemble invoices and perform a variety of general accounting tasks with attention to every detail. You'll help ensure timely and accurate billing of our professional services and get to work on a team that is diverse, dynamic, supportive and talented.
Qualifications of a Billing Specialist :
- An associate's degree in accounting is preferred but additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- At least 2 years of hands-on administrative or data-entry experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and experience with accounting software
- Knowledge of the project structure in a client / consultant business environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail

Work Schedule for a Billing Specialist :
This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. The Seattle office of Toole Design is conveniently located in the heart of Seattle's Business District, blocks from the Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Central Public Library, and Waterfront.
The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit or ferry. RapidRide lines C, D and E stop right in front, and multiple Sound Transit light rail and Sounder Commuter rail lines are a short walk to the office.
Bike lanes are close by on 2nd and 4th avenues.
We are targeting a salary range of $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 for this position.
