ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES
- Creates and releases work orders / production schedules for Manufacturing and purchase orders for Suppliers as required to meet inventory goals and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Monitors / reports on Manufacturing attainment to the production schedule and expedites as required communicates on-time delivery issues to Sales as issues arise.
- Coordinates with purchasing, production, engineering, quality and sales to achieve customer required delivery dates
- Manages change activity at the work order level and works with manufacturing to ensure timely and accurate material management / reporting practices and procedures
- Assess the impact of engineering change orders and executes changes as required.
- Assists with special projects (i.e. new product / customer ramp-up plans).
- This position involves the purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, and services in accordance with manufacturing schedules and inventory targets.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and / or work experience.
- Basic knowledge of MRP, inventory management and bills of material (experience with Syteline ERP system a plus, but not required).
Typically 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
- Proficient with MS Office applications advanced knowledge of Excel required, Access experience desired, but not required.
- Organized and able to manage multiple changing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Excellent problem solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
