Direct Counsel has partnered with a premier, nationally recognized law firm in their search for a mid-level associate (3-6 years of experience) to join its Business Group in Cincinnati, OH.
The candidate will support a variety of corporate work including, M&A, joint ventures, growth equity financings, and general corporate and commercial matters supporting in-house legal departments and operational teams of public and private companies.
Requirements
- Experience working on M&A deals, including preparing ancillary documents, performing due diligence, and preparing diligence reports
- Experience drafting LLC agreements and similar documents for corporate entities
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Superior attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and exceptional analytical skills
- Comfortable with technology
- Admitted to practice law in Ohio
Benefits
The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education / training, and relevant skills.
Associates also participate in a performance and hours-based bonus program.
