We are seeking a machinist or tool and die maker to support the following departments : Injection Molding, Sheet Metal stamping, General assembly.

Typical work includes tool / die manufacturing and repair, preventive maintenance, tool setup, and production support. The successful candidate must be able to work independently in support of production schedule and goals.

Required Skills :

• Correctly troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and reassemble progressive stamping dies.
• Providing maintenance and repair services for existing tools and dies. Includes making / replacing of ejector components.
• Perform preventive maintenance of plastic injection molds by performing scheduled mold inspections which include the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of mold.
• Examine molds to determine feasibility of in-house repairs or modifications.
• Keep accurate records of tool, die, and spare parts inventory.
• Identify and resolve issues or malfunctions in tools and dies.
• Develop machining and gaging fixtures to support the production and quality departments.
• Programming : Write and edit CNC mill and lathe programs to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Solid Works, Gibbs Cam, and SolidCAM are a plus
• Assist in the installation, commissioning and startup of existing and new tool room equipment. Perform basic tool room equipment troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to optimize tooling designs and improve manufacturing processes.
• Understand and practice all aspects of industrial maintenance safety
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

Experience & Qualifications :

Minimum of 8+ years experience
