Hanwha Vision America is seeking a Senior Hardware Product Manager for its B2B surveillance business based in Teaneck, NJ or remote.

This exciting position allows you to control the product roadmap, detailed product specifications, features, performance, mechanical and electrical specifications, pricing, and the product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the entire life cycle of product delivery, including market and competitive analysis, requirements gathering, market validation, functional specification development, package development, implementation review, sales support, and evangelism.
  • Must be able to read market trends, catch new technologies , and implement the new product development process .
  • Understand the B2B surveillance market, including pricing, features, value, and use cases.
  • Drive the product development processes and work closely with marketing communications teams to deliver new products and functionality to customers.
  • Develop product requirement documents and use cases for new product features and functions.
  • Ensure feedback is sought after and accurately reflected in the prioritization of product features and functions.
  • Constant communication with HQ to ensure that the product is being developed on schedule, understands challenges and concerns and meets the minimum requirements.
  • Support sales, marketing, account management, and services activities related to customer and prospect needs.
  • Understand pricing of competitive products, the cost structure of company products, and work with the factory to develop new products to ensure profitability.
  • Become an expert on products and how they compare to other offerings in the marketplace.
  • Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical, and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements and drive projects to completion.
  • Travel, including international, will account, at times, for up to 10%.

Requirements :

  • Experience in the B2B / B2C electronics industry, preferably in Security surveillance, ideally 8+ years of experience.
  • Technical background in video security and IP network, as well as capability to keep up with new technology and trend.
  • Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions to achieve target sales.
  • Positive Interpersonal Attitude that exhibits a consistently positive and professional demeanor when dealing with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.

Capable of maintaining constructive and effective relationships even in challenging situations.

  • Self-Driven and Motivated and capable of demonstrating a high level of initiative and motivation, capable of independently driving projects forward and overcoming challenges without the need for constant supervision.
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills.
