Vitalant is seeking a skilled on-site PC Technician II for our Scottsdale, AZ location. This role involves providing advanced technical support for end-users, focusing on computer systems and peripherals.
Responsibilities include performing detailed hardware diagnostics and maintaining the accuracy of our data processing hardware inventory.
Additionally, this position entails writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the configuration of peripheral devices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assists with work coordination and training. Provides technical guidance to peers as appropriate.
- Configures, installs and maintains PC’s, laptops, printers, scanners, print servers, terminal servers and other peripheral hardware.
- Reviews and evaluates new desktop technology, making hardware and software recommendations to management and users.
- Identifies hardware and software problems, local area network communications malfunctions and connectivity problems to include problem resolution.
- Maintains critical parts inventory and is responsible for inventory control of all data processing hardware equipment.
- Monitors, reviews, and updates trouble tickets using tracking software and provides resolution documentation to expand knowledge base.
- Manages projects related to PC hardware and software upgrades or replacements.
- Defines standards and writes SOPs related to hardware configuration.
- Coordinates with vendors for repair of equipment.
