The Role

As the Director of Finance within Capital Enterprise Operations, you will play a critical leadership role in transforming the way we approach capital budgeting, reporting, and decision-making.

This position is responsible for reimagining the capital budgeting process to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities and vision, driving efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI across the business.

Location

This role has been designated as fully remote, US with a preference on individuals located in the Denver metro areas.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the reengineering of capital budget reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and real-time decision-making.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the global capital team and senior leadership, to prioritize projects based on strategic impact, resource availability, and operational needs.
  • Partner with operations owners to track capital budgets, forecast actuals, and analyze variances to ensure effective cost management.
  • Implement post-mortem analysis on completed projects, providing actionable insights and metrics to inform future capital investments.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Provide clear, concise financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a strong emphasis on capital budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across multiple business units and functions.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial frameworks and processes that drive organizational change and impact.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$128310 - $171080 in these states : AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$135060 - $180080 in these states : AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$141820 - $189090 in these states : CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$148570 - $198090 in these states : AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
