Job Title : Legal Secretary
Location : Orange, CA
Salary : $75k-$92k / yr
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. The Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to the legal team and assist with day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in case preparation, including drafting and proofreading legal documents
- Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and court appearances
- Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
- Answer phone calls and communicate with clients and other professionals in a clear and professional manner
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and arranging for witnesses
- Maintain client files, including organizing documents and maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a defense firm
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling and calendar management
- Experience with CA litigation and court procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
