Schedule : Friday / Saturday / Sunday 6am - 6 : 30 pm

Pay Rate : $22.12 / hour - $27.40 / hour

Position Summary :

The Quality Assurance Inspector II Inspects products manufactured by Sekisui Aerospace for our customers, ensuring compliance with all customer drawings and specification requirements.

QA Inspector II will :

  • In all work centers, perform visual and dimensional inspections of Sekisui Aerospace and supplier-produced products, materials, and tooling.
  • Document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick-up forms.
  • Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel.
  • Verify kits in final inspection before shipping.
  • Document compliance with customer purchase order requirements.
  • Provide training and / or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools.
  • Prepare and execute Internal Audits. Provide internal Audit report.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Advanced blueprint reading skills.
  • Able to use hand inspection tools. (Calipers, 6 scales, height gage, etc.)
  • Advanced math aptitude.
  • Able to support inspection functions in multiple work centers.
  • Knowledge of industry record-keeping procedures and best practices.
  • Familiar with digital and electronic inspection media.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and suggest corrective and continuous improvement actions.

Education :

Six to twelve months of related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience :

One to three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
