Property Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Staff Property Accountant located in Houston TX.Our client is a real estate services / construction development company and is looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
The Staff Property Accountant candidate will need to have 1 or more years of Property Accounting experience as well as a Bachelor’s in Accounting.
The position will be responsible for General Accounting and AR / AP. Some job duties include :
Responsibilities :
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Accrual and cash journal entries
- Make daily deposits, calculate, and bill annual recoveries
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Interact and communicate with property managers
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of one year of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting
- Recent retail and / or multifamily accounting experience
Skills :
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Applicable experience in Yardi or MRI
Employment Type : Full Time
