As a Delivery Driver with Room & Board you do more than just "make deliveries, you create extraordinary experiences for our customers and act as a strong brand ambassador for both our high-quality products and reputation.

You’re a confident, career-minded professional who prefers variety in your work and enjoys the balance of being outside making local deliveries with being indoors working in our warehouse.

You’ll join a dedicated, cross-functional team responsible for product inspection, assembly, staging and local delivery service of our beautiful American-made home furniture and accessories.

You will join a 34-person team comprised of five 4-person delivery teams, 4 inventory associates, 3 repair associates, 5 customer support associates and our 5 leaders.

You will be a member of a 4-person delivery team. When you are in the delivery role, you will work, in an alternating pattern, as either the driver or the partner as a two-person team to deliver high-quality, American-made home furnishings to our customers throughout the New York area.

Approximately every 2-3 weeks, you will work in our delivery center in the merchandise quality role, where you will prepare products for delivery to ensure top quality for our customers.

Your additional responsibilities in the warehouse will include product staging, basic assembly, and quality inspection

Schedule : Set schedule of Tuesday - Saturday, hours alternating every 2-3 weeks between 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm and 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm, with occasional paid overtime (averaging between 3-4 hours per week)

Additional requirements to be a Delivery Driver :

• At least 21 years of age (Interstate DOT requirement) and a valid driver's license
• Ability to drive a 24-foot box truck (training provided)
• Able to lift / carry heavy items with the assistance of a team member and / or proper lifting equipment
• Able to pass pre-employment requirements

What we offer our Delivery Drivers :

• Salary : $57,500 - $65,000 / year ($27.64 - $31.25 / hour) Our salary is guaranteed with occasional paid overtime. Salary offered is based on experience / qualifications.
