Your Role

Are you detailed oriented, a hard worker, and love to interact with people? Do you have, or would like to learn cutting and wrapping freshly cut meats, pricing products, merchandising skills, and product presentation to grow sales?

What You'll Do

• Welcome and greet customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
• Answers questions regarding types, cuts, and suggested preparation of meats.
• Cut, trim, prepare, and package meats for sale.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work area within the meat department.
• Weigh, wrap, label, and price meats in order to keep them fresh and prevent spoilage.
• Ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive within the department.
• Perform quality inspections on meats and other products ensuring freshness.
• Clean and maintain all tools and equipment within the department.
• Cooperate with the meat department team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation controls.
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Previous experience as a Meat Wrapper (2+ years)
