We are seeking an Integration Engineer to join our small business lending bank. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining API integrations for different platforms.
They work closely with the Technology team and business stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
This role involves troubleshooting, improving current systems, and managing API integrations. Their goal is to optimize our operational efficiency and improve the banking experience for our small business customers.
Strong collaboration skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement integration solutions between different software systems.
- Collaborate with Technology teams and business stakeholders to understand and gather system
- requirements.
- Develop and manage API integrations, ensuring data consistency and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and develop effective solutions.
- Optimize current integration processes to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
- Conduct system tests to validate the functionality of the integration solutions.
- Document and maintain integration specifications and process protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance on integration solutions to other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers as necessary.
- Participate in system design reviews and code inspections.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Proficiency in integration architecture and software development, with a strong understanding of API
- integration.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with integration tools and platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Integration Developer, would be an advantage.
- Willingness to stay updated with new technology trends and innovations.
