Senior Salesforce Business Solution Architect NOTE : This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please.
The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to qualify / hold a secret clearance, preference given to candidates with an active secret clearance.
This is a remote opportunity. Daily Responsibilities Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Government customers and stakeholders on Salesforce SaaS (Software as a Service) platform technologies;
strategically implement and deliver business objectives. Use expert knowledge of out-of-box Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community (Experience), Education, Marketing and App Clouds, as well as the Force.
com Platform, to translate requirements to the level of detail necessary for the technical team to follow and implement. Advise on customizing and implementing Users, Profiles Role Creation / Maintenance, Sharing Rules, Custom Objects, Custom & Formula Fields, Page Layouts and List Views, Workflows & Approvals, Validation Rules, Dashboards, Reports, Assignment / Auto Response / Escalation, and Process Builder.
Understand and assess how business processes can be improved using Salesforce; monitor the environment to identify areas of improvement.
Lead and participate in gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and integrating internal and external systems with Salesforce.
com. Partner with business, technical and integration teams for solution definition, development, and implementation. Create, update, and maintain the Solution Design documentation.
Create demo and demo training material for new and existing application users. Ensure the solution(s) being developed satisfy the business requirements.
Oversee user acceptance testing and end-user training. Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for the client.
Requirements : Must be a U.S. Citizen as mandated by our government client. Must be able to qualify / hold a secret clearance.
Preference given to candidates with an active secret clearance. 8+ years of IT business experience. 6+years of direct experience in SDLC (software development life cycle).
5+ years’ experience as an Architect in Salesforce configuration and implementing CRM systems. Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success.
Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community (Experience), Education, Marketing, and App Clouds, and the Force.
com Platform. Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes.
Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems and a basic understanding of programming logic and constructs, specifically in Salesforce, and their use in software development.
Experience with single-org deployments and multi-org consolidations. Demonstrated experience overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of Salesforce system software solutions.
Proven experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed Salesforce business, functional, and system designs.
Extensive experience with customizing and implementing Users, Profiles Role Creation / Maintenance, Sharing Rules, Custom Objects, Custom & Formula Fields, Page Layouts and List Views, Workflows & Approvals, Validation Rules, Dashboards, Reports, Assignment / Auto Response / Escalation, and Process Builder.
Hands-on experience documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using Salesforce Schema Builder, Flow / Visual Flow, and Process Builder, and other process flow diagram tools (e.
g. Lucid), UML, sequence diagrams, etc. to provide visual mock-ups reflecting business requirements and designs. Experience making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs.
A team player with excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio. Sharing a non-branded sample Solution Design Document and presenting it to the interviewer will be a PLUS.
BS / BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS / BA degree.
