Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician

We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician to join the team!

As the Fire Sprinkler Test & Inspection Technician, you're responsible for the inspection, service and / or repair of fire sprinkler systems.

Ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.

In this role, you will :

  • Routinely inspect, test, troubleshoot and service fire sprinkler systems.
  • Conduct service calls and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems.
  • Troubleshoot systems to determine source of problem and recommend solution(s).
  • Determine the presence of other fire protection and building systems, and device locations.
  • Conduct fire code compliance follow-ups to ensure that corrective actions are appropriate.
  • Document detailed reports of fire inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
  • Provide exceptional customer service & develop strong relationships with customers.
  • Interface successfully with clients and other branches of business; Administration, Sales, and Management.

Requirements :

  • 3 years’ experience performing test and inspection of Fire Sprinkler systems.
  • NICET certifications in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and Fire Alarm Systems highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with applicable fire and building codes.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
