Build lists of non-profit organizations and governmental agencies that provide free assistance to people nationwide, with a note as to which ones have bilingual staff or services.
- These lists will be placed on our websites and searchable by zip code and topic. Some of the topics will be : English as a Second Language;
- Domestic Violence Shelters; Home Purchase assistance; Immigrant Legal Services; Environmental Organizations needing volunteers;
Scouting- Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc. The researcher may need to call each local group to verify it has bilingual staff and introduce them to HCN and its allies.
Content Creators / Aspiring Journalists :
Create / Produce multimedia stories for our websites and social media channels. We are looking for content in Spanish and English catering to Latinos in the US and Black / African Americans.
