Description
Principle Responsibilities
Conduct group and 1 : 1 aquatic exercise and therapy programs.Conduct programs in compliance with governing disciplines.
Conduct 1 : 1 instruction and hands-on assistance to clients.Monitor clients' progress and make program changes to facilitate clients' maximum independence and achieve fitness goals.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Complete documentation, maintain class rosters and client records.Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age with education and / or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0 to 2 years in teaching aquatics skills preferred
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required from American Heart Association or Allina Health within 60 Days and
- Lifeguard Certification from American Red Cross required within 2 weeks of hire
