Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Represent the organization in all aspects of business and real estate litigation.
2. Manage all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pretrial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
3. Handle broker disputes, title disputes, contract disputes, class actions, insurance defense, and professional liability cases.
4. Develop and implement litigation strategy for a variety of complex business and real estate disputes.
5. Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and conduct depositions.
6. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of business and real estate matters.
7. Collaborate with other legal team members and manage outside counsel as needed.
8. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
9. Keep abreast of legal developments affecting the company, its clients, and industries and synthesize the information to incorporate it into company's legal strategy.
Qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law.
3. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, specifically within business and real estate.
4. Proven experience with broker disputes, title disputes, contract disputes, class actions, insurance defense, and professional liability.
5. Exceptional skills in drafting discoveries and motions.
6. Strong knowledge of law and motion.
7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have good tenure at previous employers (2+ years each)
8. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
