OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Data Analyst with mid to senior-level experience in the Chantilly, Va area to play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting data to support our cutting-edge cybersecurity initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, expertise in utilizing Tableau for data visualization, and proficiency in extracting insights from relational databases.
They should possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, data management, and statistical analysis.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Analyze cybersecurity data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize complex data sets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Conduct data mining and analysis to detect security threats and vulnerabilities.
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends to enhance data analysis techniques and methodologies.
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on cybersecurity.
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection and incident response.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a plus.
