Reporting to the International Sales Manager, the District Sales Representative is responsible for generating profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
Incumbent's focus will be on end user sales calls, with and without distributor and / or sales rep involvement, in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and the Chicagoland area.
This position is fully remote, home-based role with preferred candidates residing in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area.
Responsibilities
- Engage in end user sales calls to promote Company products and generate revenue.
- Conduct site surveys to generate quote opportunities.
- Train independent sales representatives and distributor salespeople to improve sales of Company products.
- Work with the Regional Sales Manager to identify and develop new end users in the assigned territory.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Timely complete assigned administrative tasks and ensure proper handling and distribution of company funds.
- Flexibility for up to 50% overnight travel is required
- Work with end-user customers, maintain awareness of competitors' product / market changes, and actively work within Sales and Marketing budgets.
- Participate in virtual and in-person trade show events.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and three years of industrial sales experience and / or equivalent education, training, and experience in job related activities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to accept accountability for own actions and business results.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to present training materials to large groups or audiences.
- Displays initiative, professionalism, and integrity in work ethic.
- Successfully manage organizational change initiatives.
- Participate in video calls / team meetings via web camera.
- Reliable attendance is necessary.
