Job Details
Insight Global is seeking a CAD / Drafting Technician to join a team of professionals executing system integration efforts for the Navy and US Marine Corps in Charleston, SC for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
This individual will get design direction from the team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and transfer that information into 3D CAD models and 2D drawing data.
Required skills :
- Hands on experience with Creo CAD software (versions 7 and on)
- Ability to create drawings and designs using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD Software and AutoCAD 2D for Technical Data Packages
- Can understand and create drawings based on ASME Standards
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice to have skills :
- Associates degree in related discipline
- Experience in designing with SolidWorks
- Microsoft experience
- Knowledge of ASME standards
Compensation : $25.63 per hour
