Position : Director of Business Development (Railroad Industry)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our client initiatives in the railroad industry.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales and business development, bolstered by a successful track record in the railroad sector.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth within the railroad industry.
Identify and seize new business opportunities by forging relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Cultivate and expand a robust network of contacts within the industry to bolster strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
Lead the sales team in formulating and implementing sales strategies that surpass revenue objectives.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of premium quality services to clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
Craft and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.
Monitor sales performance, providing detailed reports and insights to senior management.
Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years experience in sales and business development, specifically within the railroad industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Comprehensive knowledge of the railroad industry and its key players.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain client and industry relationships.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing sales teams.
Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and industry events.
