Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Medical Business Office Specialist who contributes to the company’s mission, vision, and values by handling various business office functions.

You will be responsible for billing, cash posting, chart preparation, collections, insurance verification, medical records, patient registration and scheduling.

What you will do :

• You will manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones
• You will manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information
• You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and / or charge) including balancing the day in the computer

Qualifications you will need :

Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably an ambulatory setting

Tallahassee Outpatient Surgery Center is located in Tallahassee, Florida and opened for business in 1992. We serve the residents of Leon County and surrounding areas.

The center is located near beautiful beaches and great shrimping areas. Our AAAHC accredited center performs over 400 procedures a month.
