Job Summary
Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
- Utilize company provided CAD drawings blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
- Helper and Apprentice level proficiency with specific product installation procedures.
- Install of Locking Corner Shelves
- Install and adjust hampers, install fillers and scribe mold.
- Install and adjust doors and side by side drawer stacks. Install fusion Slat wall system and basic floor based systems.
- Install basic countertops, islands and all types of backing. Install flat trip both base and top trim.
- Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately.
Qualifications
- Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High School diploma
- Entry level; 1 year experience
- Experience with common hand and power tools
- Trade or vocational school experience desirable
- Cabinetry or carpentry skills and / or experience installing offices to furniture quality level finishes.
