PrideStaff Financial has partnered with a growing real estate investment firm in Dallas, Texas to identify a dynamic Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team!
Compensation : 80,000-$100,000 + bonus potential
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Mentor the accounting team
- Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned portfolio, including balance sheet reconciliations and producing monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Producing monthly reporting, rent roll, etc.
- Provide year-end and month-end support for variance analysis, audit requests and bank reconciliations.
- Supply tenant analysis and statements of account as requested
- Loan reconciliations & payments
- Process Accounts Payable invoices, coding and approvals
- Review account records : credit memos and cash receipts to ensure accurately posted
- Sales tax returns
- Preparing and presenting investor reports and updates
- Monthly reporting package consolidations
- Complete financial analysis, modeling, and budgeting activities
- Special projects
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor’s degree, degree in accounting or finance required
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of real estate accounting experience required.
- QuickBooks expertise
Skills :
- Strong proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and Windows
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Dedication and loyalty
- Experience with MRI, Yardi or Skyline property accounting software preferred as well as experience with budget software packages such as Kardin Systems or Argus a plus.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Per Year
