Join Maritz as a Associate Interactive Designer, where you'll be creating captivating digital and print media. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to craft intuitive and visually appealing designs.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute design solutions that are consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with project goals.
Success in this role requires proficiency in design software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to quickly adapt to feedback in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
70% PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT : Learn and understand software and systems capabilities. Produce graphically sound and navigable websites.
Assists in production HTML and CSS. Assists in overall management of creative design, schedules, and budgets. Assists in the production of new communications in a variety of digital media and print media.
30% INTERNAL AND CLIENT INTERACTIONS : Supports development of digital and print media approaches and solutions in concepts, layouts, wireframes, sketches, and prototypes.
Creates final deliverable and produces or directs production of finished work. Works with the project team to maintain usability, site function, and quality design of interactive digital projects.
Work with account team and client to learn client needs and objectives.
Qualifications
2-year degree in Graphic & Interactive Design, Digital Media Design, or UI / UX Design or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.
4-year Bachelor degree preferred.
Experience with applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Website, digital, and email marketing design experience using HTML and CSS a plus.
Strong eye for digital and print design (layout, typography, color, iconography, and imagery selection) and within established brand style guides Knowledge of responsive web design and best practices
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with team-first mentality
Ability to take creative direction and receive feedback in positive manner
Must have a current portfolio with demonstrated proficiency in design to share during the interview process.
