Our growing medical malpractice law firm is searching for a Junior Associate Attorney to join our team of attorneys in our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities for the Junior Associate Attorney :
- Conduct in-depth legal research on case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support case strategy. Writing legal memos, briefs, and motions.
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, motions, and discovery requests under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Assist in client interviews, meetings, and updates. Junior associates often prepare summaries and help communicate between the legal team and the client.
- Organize case files, manage discovery processes, and ensure all filings and documentation are completed on time and according to legal standards.
- Attend hearings, trials, and depositions.
- Assist in reviewing documents during discovery, including analyzing evidence, summarizing depositions, and gathering relevant information for cases.
- Keep detailed records of time spent on various tasks to bill clients properly.
- Work closely with more experienced attorneys to learn the nuances of legal practice, gaining practical experience and mentorship.
Qualifications for the Junior Associate Attorney :
- JD from an accredited Law School
- Will accept candidates who have not yet passed the state bar exam
- Excellent writing skills
- Exemplary communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- Compassion and curiosity are imperative.
