JobPurpose :

Under theguidance of the F&B Director performs all duties and isresponsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of venueoperations including Katsuya Bar Central In Room Dining SpecialEvents and New Concept Restaurant to be named later whilemaintaining a profitable operation high quality products properservice levels and adequate staffing.

He / she is expected to marketideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintainrevenue payroll and expense budgets;

and meet budgeted productivitywhile keeping consistently high quality and standards across theboard.

Duties&Functions :

  • Mustlove and support their TEAM!

  • Ensure that all operational systems andprocedures are effective efficient and in place for the operationof the venue
  • Ensures that these systems andprocedures are consistently applied throughout the venue by eachemployee
  • Oversees and directs the seamlessrunning of daytoday operations
  • Supports thedelivery of outstanding customer service while ensuring that allfinancial and statutory requirements are met
  • Isactively involved in the selection development / performance andseparation of all venueemployees
  • Manages / develops all areas ofmanagerial and professional aspects
  • Incooperation with Director of Nightlife Operations and / or VicePresident of Nightlife and / or General Manager of Nightlife developsand implements strategy for operational management and developmentmeeting agreed organizational performance plans within agreedbudgets and timeframes
  • Manages and controlsdepartment expenditures staying within agreed budgets and beingresponsible of P / L for venues
  • Communicates on aregular basis with Hotel leadership regarding venue performance andoperations
  • Ensures that department andemployees are maintaining and attempting to exceed their agreedlevel of operating performance at alltimes
  • Ensures maintenance and cleanliness ofoutlets with specific focus on departmental SNHD food standardsOSHA Fire & Life SafetyRegulations.
  • Posts all bids memos and schedulesin a timely manner or manages those who do ensuring that they areposted in the above mentioned manner
  • Maintainsemployee morale addressing any and all issues with care andefficiency in coordination with HR policies
  • Anyother reasonable duties as assigned by the F&B Director orExecutive Team
  • We recognize we are in thehospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateralservice. We will on occasion call for each individual ina team to do whatever is necessary to provide exceptional guestsexperience which may differ from traditional General Manger dutiesand workexpectations

ADDITIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicateeffectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing to provideclear direction to the venue teams coworkers andcolleagues
  • Communicate with employees using apositive and clear speaking voice listen to and understand requestsrespond with appropriate actions and provide accurate informationin a timely manner
  • Remain calm and alertespecially during emergency situations and / or heavy restaurantactivity serving as a role model for team and other employees.

Interact with other department personnel and venue staffregularly

Make decisions and take actions basedon previous experience and good judgment sometimes revisingprocedures to accommodate unusualsituations

Tobe aware of and ensure constant compliance with all necessaryoperational policiesincluding :

  • Healthand Safety
  • FoodHygiene
  • Maintenance
  • EmergencyProcedures
  • LiquorLicensing

SUPPORTIVEFUNCTIONS

Inaddition to performance of the essential functions this positionmay be required to perform a combination of the followingsupportive functions with the percentage of time performing eachfunction to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon theparticular requirements of thecompany.

  • Attend mandatory meetingsincluding divisional meetings staff meetingsetc.
  • Participate in community events and ensurecorporate social responsibility goals of Ennismore aremet
  • Utilize traditional software programs suchas Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint) Micros ADPOpen Table and any departmental specific systemsused.
  • Keep work area clean andorganized
  • Ensure confidential documents arekept in a secured area.
  • When disposingconfidential documents that contain any personally identifiableinformation they must be shredded orpulverized
  • Complete other duties as assigned bythe F&B Director or Executiveteam
  • Demonstrate positive leadershipcharacteristics which inspire Team Members to meet and exceedstandards.
  • Ensure compliance with Ennismorespolicies andprocedures.

OTHERDUTIES

Assimilateinto Ennismores culture through understanding supporting andparticipating in all Ennismore elements. Demonstrate workingknowledge of the service standards.

Regularattendance in conformance with the standards which may beestablished by Ennismore from time to time is essential to thesuccessful performance of this position.

Managersand / or Department heads will be required to work varying scheduleshours and days to reflect the business needs of theproperty.

SAFETYREQUIREMENTS

PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing workduties that may have the potential of risk to your health orsafety.

The restaurant will provide the required PPE. Team memberswill be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE.

Itis your responsibility to report defective damaged or lost PPE orequipment that does not fit properly to yourManager.

Requires ability to lift large and heavypackages and boxes and to the ability to load and unload small andlarge boxes as needed.

Must have ability to safely lift minimum of50 lbs. without assistance and to push and pull up to 150 lbs. withappropriateequipment.

GROOMING / UNIFORMS

Allemployees must maintain a neat clean and wellgroomed appearance.Specific uniform guidelines and / or required articles of clothingwill be explained to you as a part of the orientationprocess.

Qualifications :

SPECIFICJOB KNOWLEDGE SKILL ANDABILITY

Theindividual must possess the following knowledge skills andabilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she canperform the essential functions of the job with or withoutreasonable accommodation.

  • BachelorsDegree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalentrequired
  • Minimum of five (5) years of luxuryRestaurant / Nightclub Managementexperience.
  • Strong knowledge of commonlyusedconcepts practices and procedures in a restaurant / nightclub isrequired
  • Proven ability to accurately calculateP / L handle money and implement spending changes isrequired
  • Must have flexibility and be adaptableto all types of changes
  • Previous experiencerecruiting developing and managing multiple types of personalitiesis required
  • Proven team leader with a highlevel of energy and motivation with a proven track record of livingthe companys values
  • An intermediate toproficient understanding of Computer systems such as : OperaGoConcierge HotSOS Microsoft Word Excel & Outlook ispreferred
  • Enter and locate work relatedinformation using computers and / or point of salesystems
  • Ability to spend extended lengths oftime viewing a computer screen
  • Possess agracious friendly and fun demeanor
  • Ability tomultitask work in a fastpaced environment and have a high levelattention to detail
  • Maintain positive andproductive working relationships with other employees anddepartments
  • Ability to work independently andto partner with others to promote an environment ofteamwork
  • Must be able to stand or walk aminimum eighthour shift.
