The Benefits Analyst role supports Diligent’s global benefits providing excellent customer service to employees and serving as a first point of contact for benefits program including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and leave of absence.

This versatile role juggles often competing priorities and requires a diverse skill set ranging from knowledge of benefits programs, compliance and administration, and HR systems.

The role partners with all members of our HR team, interacts with employees and managers at all levels of the organization and requires operational immersion into the inner workings of an HR department and a detailed understanding of HR processes and procedures.

This role will be expected to support M&A integration activities and support the organization as it continues to scale and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • General day-to-day administration and first point of contact for benefits programs including health & welfare plans, wellness and leave of absence administration.
  • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits deductions and provide recommendations for areas of efficiencies and improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee benefits information through audits and billing reconciliation liaising with AP and vendors as required.
  • Work with benefit vendors to resolve employee issues, ensure accurate billing, and implement the most streamlined administrative processes.
  • Key role in the development of benefits content on company intranet, maintaining updated and accurate benefits information.
  • Integral support during and leading up to annual renewals and enrollments, including heavy involvement in the Open Enrollment process.
  • Support compliance and reporting obligations including but not limited to ACA filings, annual plan notice distributions, non-discrimination testing, etc.

Required Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years’ experience in Benefits.
  • Knowledge of Benefits regulations and compliance including COBRA, ERISA, ACA, FMLA and experience administering both fully-insured and self-insured plans.
  • Working knowledge of benefits technology and HR systems as well as HR operations, policies and processes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable navigating a dynamic, fluid environment with strong collaboration and communication skills, customer service oriented.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience within a global organization and ability to interact with and influence various departments and levels of management.
  • Project management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, analyze data and process and communicate recommendations.

U.S pay range

$60,000 - $70,000 USD
