Field Service Technician-Jan/San equipment.

Position Overview :

This position is responsible for all Chemical Account Program obligations and growth including, but not limited to : Laundry, Ware wash, Housekeeping, Grease Trap Maintenance and chemical dispensing throughout the Johnston Paper Distribution area.

Provide routine servicing of chemical dilution equipment, driving sales within the accounts by maintaining equipment in working order through customer visits, internal reporting and administrative duties, service call response and completion per contracted requirements.

Building and maintaining customer relationships. This position requires detail administrative documentation including, but not limited to : Quarterly, Monthly, and Weekly Reports, Equipment Performance Reports, Routine and Emergency Service Call reports.

This position uses emerging electronic technology for communication, reporting and auditing. This position services and trains on emerging platform technology for chemical dispensing.

Responsibilities Include :

• Installation, routine, and emergency servicing of chemical dilution equipment, including troubleshooting and programming of chemical dispensing equipment.
• Perform shop and "on site" service of customer equipment for the Johnston Paper Jan San Program.
• Maintain and service an assigned route, with regard to Johnston Paper offered programs.
• Perform service and / or assist with repair on Johnston Paper and customer owned equipment.
• Responds to requests for service via telephone and email. Completes job assignments and associated tasks in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality assurance for Johnston Paper's Jan San programs.
• Provide training to customers on products and equipment.
• Perform in-shop and on-site service of chemical dispensing equipment for the Johnston Paper laundry, ware wash, grease trap and chemical dispensing programs.
• Maintain respective inventory levels necessary for successful operation of account servicing and installations
• Maintain and outfit the assigned JP vehicle in a professional, neat, organized and serviceable condition
• Conduct himself / herself in a professional and customer care oriented manner in order to always maintain a positive relationship with all Johnston Paper customers and co-workers.
• Support Jan / San equipment and chemical sales, demonstrations and installations
• Accept responsibility for and carry out assigned Work Orders
• Maintain all tools and equipment assigned to you, in a serviceable condition.
• Assists with and / or performs installation requests (laundry, grease trap, dispensers)
• Assists with machine repair when available or assigned by Department Head
• Prepare and present a weekly summary of all transactions and events for review with Department Head

The ideal candidate will have :

• High School Diploma Required
• 3 Years of experience in technical repair and / or service preferred.
• A Driver's license in good standing.
