PRODUCE ASSISTANT
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an individual to work in theproduce department as a produce assistant . You will be behind thescenes andwillhaveno customer interaction. Pay Rate
$14.00 perhour Schedule and Hours
Monday throughSaturday1stShift8 : 00AM Completion (usually 5 : 00PM) Produce Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and wear proper personal protective equipment (e.g., pallet jack, flatbed, forklift, box cutter, carts, pricing gun, mop, broom, utensils, compactor,coringmachine, wrapper, knives, safety glasses and cut resistant gloves) according to company guidelines.
- Gain / maintain knowledge of products, product location and receiving procedures
- Sort stock and load onto cart / pallet jack and move to proper area forstocking.
- Clean / sanitize utensils used.
- Cut,wrap,and preparefruit and vegetables; follow crisping program
- Maintain ability to work various shifts.
- Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, frequently lifting / carrying objects 10 to 85lbs,reaching, standing, kneeling, turning, walking, stooping / bending, exposure to cold temperatures (35to 40degrees);
occasionally crawl, climb ladders and walk on uneven ground.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Produce Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
