Outpatient MRI Technologist

Shift : Days - Mon-Fri 8a-4p
JOB TYPE : Full-Time Permanent
We're seeking a highly motivated Outpatient MRI Technologist to join our team! In this role, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality MRI scans to our patients in a comfortable outpatient setting.
What You'll Do :
- Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for optimal image quality, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
- Process and review MRI scans for quality and completeness.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Educate patients about MRI procedures and answer their questions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain compliance with safety standards.
What We're Looking For :
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program with a focus on MRI.
- ARRT certified (must become ARRT MR certified within 1 year of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous learning.
- MRI safety certification level 2 required.
