The Cardinal Health Pharma ecommerce team is looking for aLead, UX Researcherto help us create digital experiences that empower patient care.

We are looking for a passionateresearcher and team player whowill be part of a massive digital transformation effort.ThisLead, UX Researcherwill beresponsible foruncoveringany and allunmet and unstated needsofour usersandestablishingand maintaininga growing and evolvingcustomer feedback loop.

Essential functions :

TheLead, UX Researcherwillhelp uncover and defineuser needs,analyze data gathered througha variety of generative and evaluativeresearchmethods, and present findings to stakeholders across the organization.

They will help establish benchmarking efforts on a regular cadence,leverage analytics and other data sources to identify usability issues and areas for future enhancement,and validate whether or not digital transformation efforts are meeting the needs of our users.

TheLead, UX Researcherwill apply these skills toadvocate for the customer experienceand work directly withthe Productand UXR teamsacross multipleteams and products.

Responsibilities :

  • Guide and help remove obstacles for UX researchers
  • Work with UX researchers to identify the proper research methodsneeded to bestmeet the needs of thegoalsof the problemswe are trying to understand
  • Conductor supportprimaryuser researchstudieswith business stakeholders and usersto gain insights around met, unmet, stated and unstated needs
  • Conductor support secondary research efforts including analytics, user recordings andfeedback,survey results,customer service call logs, internal usage reports, and others
  • Benchmark our experiences to ensure improvement with subsequent releases
  • Validate concepts and prototypes to uncover additional insights and opportunities
  • Translate research data gathered into actionable recommendations that help inform future efforts
  • Deliver recommendations to business partners and leaders in a consumable and actionable way
  • Leverage UXR to inform strategic direction on future and current transformation efforts
  • Conduct both moderated and unmoderated studies
  • Partner with a digital product team working with UX, UI, Product, customer support, technology and other internal business partners

Qualifications :

  • Provide a digital portfolio (demonstrating professional research and problem-solving skills)
  • 3-5 years of project and resource management experiencepreferred
  • 5+years of experienceconducting, analyzing and communicating userresearch findings and insightspreferred
  • Demonstrated ability toassess a situation and apply the correct method for uncovering user needs and product opportunities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • This role frequently interacts with and presents to senior leadership. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation and story-telling abilities are essential.
  • Have abackground in ethnography and / orcognitive science methods(ideal)
  • Passionate about understanding and helping teams to empathize with users' experiences
  • Have an understanding of human-centric design principles
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct moderated and unmoderated testing methods
  • Have a Master's Degree or higher degree in HCI, UXresearch,cognitive scienceor other relevanthumandisciplines
  • Have worked in an agile environment
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple work streams at one time
  • Reliable, responsive, and with excellent time management skills
  • Have worked in virtual teams
  • Ability to travel as needed (roughly 25% of time) to conduct research
  • Have created and presented your work in multiple formats, in particular slide format (thinkPowerPointprimarily) to upper management, stakeholders and other business partners in a consumable and enjoyable manner
  • Adaptable to changes in priorities and ways of working
  • Skills withevangelizingUX across organizations
  • Understanding of digital accessibilitypreferred
  • Design-thinking badge or coaching certificationpreferred
  • PhD ina behavioral disciplinepreferred

Anticipated salary range : $121,600 - $156,300
