Who we are looking for

Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Market Access, AIR, US, the Lead, Market Access Operations will develop and execute strategic and operational initiatives to support launch and optimal coverage and patient access for Chiesi AIR products within the United States.

A key responsibility will be working on upcoming commercial product launches of respiratory in the United States.

Main Responsibilities

In collaboration with Market Access leadership, develop & lead strategy and operations for US Market Access AIR to build capabilities and prepare the organization to successfully launch the Chiesi AIR portfolio.

  • Onboard new vendors and consultants and manage the relationships with external partners to facilitate the ramp up and delivery of key activities for launch
  • Facilitate field operations including field force planning and effectiveness, onboarding, training coordination, CRM implementation, and other activities to ensure our Market Access field teams are set up for success
  • Support key patient and market access activities such as completing HUB services RFP and onboarding and development of pre-approval content and strategies
  • Provide market access and business direction for the integration of payer, claims, and field data
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Patient Services, and Commercial to ensure alignment of payer strategy with Chiesi AIR commercialization strategy and plans.
  • Lead project management, launch and brand planning, and execution with the Market Access leadership
  • Work with National Account Directors to deliver access goals in conjunction with sales organization while continuously assessing performance metrics and adjusting strategies and plans to achieve results
  • Partners collaboratively with global market access, brand marketing and cross functional teams to support the operationalization and execution of Market Access strategy and tactics to achieve payer access goals and net revenue aligned to the overall brand objectives
  • Leads and manage agency and consultant projects and relationships
  • Identifies opportunities to promote data-driven strategies and decision-making
  • Manages and maintains budget and accruals process
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with payers and other business partners

Experience Required

  • Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical processes and operations including working with internal (global, legal, compliance, and cross-functional) and external (consultants and vendors) partners on timely and high-quality execution of projects
  • Bachelors degree in related function
  • 5+ years progressive responsibility across key biopharmaceutical commercial functions such as marketing, commercial operations, market access and / or sales
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical launch and access dynamics including key factors for success
  • Launch experience preferred
