What does a Medicare Product Specialist do?

As a Medicare Product Specialist at VillageCare, you will play a vital role in managing projects that support the development and implementation of our Medicare products. You will oversee the annual CMS bid submission process, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Actuary, Pharmacy, Finance, and Delegated Vendor teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Your efforts will be crucial in enhancing our organizational understanding of Medicare products by partnering with training and communication teams. You will lead special projects based on enrollment trends and opportunities, while also supporting the ongoing evaluation of our Medicare Advantage product portfolio.

Your analytical skills will come into play as you assess new product ideas and gather market data to support business case development. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with CMS regulations while working closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure accurate representation of benefits in all materials. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is essential, alongside a minimum of three years of experience in Medicare product management.
