HX5 is currently seeking a System Support Representative to support the team at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain hardware / software configuration management and control of other mission planning spectrum applications.
- Install MPE upgrades and aid in disposition of equipment.
- Define, implement, and maintain procedures and practices for loading new or updated mission planning data
- Analyze software, hardware, and system problems found by the user to provide problem identification, duplication and testing, resolution, and tracking until a resolution is determined.
- Set-up, configure and ensure proper functionality of an MPE in support of exercises, daily operational training missions, deployments and real-world contingencies, as directed.
- Travel to worldwide locations to establish operational mission planning systems in locations with little or no SSR support
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and client personnel.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree preferred or five (5) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree.
- Minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II Certification within 6 months from date of hire
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements :
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must be able to travel, including air travel.
