About the position\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social and psychological status.\n
• Seeks and evaluates information acquired from other members of interdisciplinary team.\n
• Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop individualized plan of care.\n
• Actively seeks patient, family, team, and physician involvement to develop plan of care.\n
• Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination and collaboration.\n
• Provides or delegates care consistent with plan of care, guidelines of care and professional licensure provisions.\n
• Evaluates patient response to interventions through review of achievement of goals.\n
• Revises plan of care as indicated, and reassesses changes as appropriate.\n
• Promotes nursing profession and participates in development of others.\n
• Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice.\n\nRequirements\n
• Current RN License in state of practice.\n
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.\n
• Practice specific certification as required by the clinical setting.\n
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\n
• RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.\n\nNice-to-haves\n
