- Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold-calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Assess clients' needs, understand their business objectives, and determine appropriate employee benefit solutions.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and other related benefits.
- Develop customized benefit plans tailored to clients' requirements.
- Stay up to datewith industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits.
- Analyze market data to recommend competitive benefit packages.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and consistently meeting their needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering ongoing support, guidance, and solutions.
- Ensure clients' benefit plans comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including healthcare reform laws such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Prepare and present proposals, including cost analysis and benefit comparisons, to clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers and benefit providers on behalf of clients.
- Assist clients with benefits administration, enrollment processes, and claims resolution.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to streamline processes.
