Supply Chain Manager
Hybrid Role; 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
Medaxis delivers superior patient outcomes through innovative wound therapy solutions with the Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) line of products and services from Medela and integrates breakthrough technology to optimize the wound bed for healing.

Medaxis is adding a Supply Chain Manager to their team.

Key Experience Needed : Supply Chain Manager
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Supply Chain required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years’ related manufacturing materials management and purchasing experience
- NetSuite ERP experience preferred
- Medical device supply chain experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and a Windows environment required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Position Responsibilities : Supply Chain Manager
- Leads the Sales & Operations (S&OP) planning process by driving alignment with cross-functional partners including Sales, Product Management, Operations (Supply Chain) and Finance
- Effectively and efficiently manage Medaxis 3PL partner to ensure all strategic goals are achieved.
- Ensures that the company’s investment in inventory is minimized, and that all specifications and customer requirements are met
- Responsible for creating and / or approving purchase orders to meet material requirements.
- Responsible to develop, check accuracy, and post / disseminate departmental KPIs and vendor metrics. Analyze current performance, identify gaps to objectives, then develop and execute improvement plans (using LSS, etc.
that allow the business to meet or exceed targeted goals.
- Develop and implement proper procedures, policies, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, cGMP, QSR, ISO).
- Develop and implement processes to ensure the accuracy / completeness of data in NetSuite and other company related software systems.
- Support Medaxis in properly resolving product issues. Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers on expeditious root-cause analysis and development of clear action plans to resolve all supply chain and project performance issues.
- Provide direct sourcing support as needed, including the sourcing of new materials, negotiating supply agreements, performing make vs.
buy and total cost of ownership analysis. Assure purchasing plans support product launch and re-launch efforts while minimizing inventory.
- Lead supplier performance reviews and forums.
- Lead efforts to negotiate price reductions as applicable.
- Lead the efforts to analyze risks in the supply chain and establish proper contingency and surge capacity plans as needed.
