WorkingHours

Work will be schedulednormally from 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Monday through Friday howeverthere may be times when it is necessary for the employees to workafter duty hours or weekends in support of specific tasking.

Although the schedule may have to be flexible it will not exceed 40hours per week. Temporary alternate work locations may beassigned.

MandatoryQualifications

• Thecontractor employee shall possess a Bachelors Degree in EducationalTechnology Instructional Design Educational Design or five (5)years applied experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD)techniques and related discipline that includes demonstratedexperience in two of thefour :
• Learning theory psychologyof learning educational psychology : Study oflearning theories as they relate to the systematic design creationand validation of instructionalmaterial.
• Instructional designpractices : Study of the principles and techniquesused in designing training programs building design strategy andmodels and applying design methods to the improvement ofinstructionaleffectiveness.
• Educationalassessment : Study of the techniques for rating theeffectiveness of instructional / educational programs includingcreating written and performance tests and survey instruments anddetermining reliability and validity of designedinstruments.
• Instructionalproduct creation : Study of the techniquesappropriate for creating training materials including identifyinglearner characteristics specifying objectives applying trainingstrategy validating training materials and assessingtraining.
• Shall beproficient in current technologies that are used to develop cuttingedge educational materials. Their expertise should include (but notlimited to) technologies such as Adobe Captivate packaging anddelivering Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packagesgaming 3D modeling virtual reality andsimulation.
• Shall have demonstrated extensiveexperience in organizational skills and the ability to workindependently and have strong interpersonalskills.
• Must have outstanding filingorganizational communication and typing skills as well as extensiveexperience with the use of Microsoft Office to include Word ExcelPowerPoint Microsoft Teams Zoom and Adobe Acrobatprograms.
• Shall have ability to criticallythink problem solve and effectively communicate through bothwriting and speech.

Highly DesiredQualifications :

Shallpossess a Masters Degree in Educational Technology InstructionalDesign Educational Design or relateddiscipline.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Shall provide educational expertise in thecreation of multimedia graphics or media projects in collaborationwith Subject Matter Experts (SME) Project / production Manager andProduction Team.
• Shall recommend instructionalplatforms instructional media development tools and deliverymethods to satisfy training requirements for any programs orclasses assigned.
• Shall add manage and performtesting of online courseware and complete a comprehensive report onthe data gathered and offer recommendations for trainingimprovements.
• Shall create training plans andconduct or provide guidance in conducting the validation phase ofthe ISD process to ensure effectiveness in meeting courseobjectives and required proficiency levels for newly implementedcourses.
• Shall perform required administrativeactivities include correcting grammar spelling syntax andformatting to accurately prepare review and edit written curriculumand the maintenance and updating of files andrecords.
• Shall participate in and supporteducationally related activities as required. Projects may includeoffice continuity design aiding the departments withonline / elearning tasks (if the project is for a course must be acollaborative effort between Department Instructional SystemSpecialist production manager Subject Matter Expert (SME) andCourse Director) and USAFSAM specific curriculum guidancecreation.
• Shall apply all components of theADDIE (Analyze Design Develop Implement and Evaluate) InstructionalSystem Design model.
• Shall design all trainingmaterials including but not limited to effective copy instructionaltext audio scripts and video scripts.
• Shallutilize other software tools provided by the government asnecessary and dictated by the TechnicalAdvisor.
• Shall attend all meetings asrequested.
• Shall assist in all duties specifiedherein however specific tasks may be identified by the TechnicalAdvisor.
• Shall analyze student feedback fromendofcourse evaluations and field surveys to assess theeffectiveness of technical inserts.

Shall provide writtenrecommendations to the EDED Branch Chief and / or applicable USAFSAMBranch Chief and customer for improving the courseware using ISDprinciples.

• Shall receive and clarify projectrequest from customer coordinate project scope meetings determineappropriate product(s) storyboard projects determine contentreviews with the customers and obtain the required approvals forfinal course delivery.
• Shall provideconsultation and validation of educational content and deliverythroughout all phases of USAFSAM multimedia development asrequested;

ensuring that products leaving USAFSAM are educationallysound.
