The Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD).
The ECD team is charged with supporting local governments and community partners by developing grant applications and providing grant administration services for a diverse mix of state and federal programs aimed at improving or expanding infrastructure for broadband, housing, parks and recreation, public safety, transportation, water and wastewater utilities, and workforce training, among others.
GNRC’s active portfolio includes several projects funded by Community Development Block Grants and programs created by the American Rescue Plan Act.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in grant writing and grant administration and hold a professional certification from a national or state organization in the field of economic and community development.
A master’s degree in public or business administration, economic development, community and regional planning, political science, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred, along with at least three years of managerial experience.
Foreign degrees and credentials will be considered.
